Besides the resources, costs and travel there is another pro to virtual conferences: They can be pretty cool. Even before Corona, Jabra had planned its first Virtual Partner Summit. We took a peek.
While most companies in various industries worldwide are being forced by Corona to suddenly up their game regarding virtualization and digitization in order to keep their businesses going, others have been one step ahead all along. Like Jabra, who already had gone fully digital with a virtual event for the introduction of a new product to their partners when the virus hit.
One step ahead in digitization
After a friendly introduction video that invited the visitor to “take a seat, have a coffee and get ready for the conference to start”, a glossy hall revealed itself, with a number of “room” ready to be explored. The digital event offered assets for the partners, pre-recorded presentations, product information and other resources – all easily accessible. The look-and-feel was sleek and high-quality, the atmosphere thanks to inserted background noise more than convincing.
Not quite the same, but 100% future-proof
Considering long-term effects from COVID-19 and mega trends like the climate crisis, we will surely see much more of this type of events in the future – and we are totally thrilled!
